 My name is Elmer and I have been patrolling the pond between holes 12 & 13 at Sawmill Creek for the last 8 years. Try fending off snapping turtles in 90 degree heat all summer while trying not to get hit by one of the 3000 wayward golf balls that enter my pond. Please log on and find out all the great things that are happening here at Sawmill. THE GOLF COURSE IS OPEN. As I waddle around the golf course I've noticed several changes that are currently under way. The new tee on holes 10 and 15 has come in great and the players who experienced it at the end of last season loved the change. The new tee on Hole 3 was loved by all who played on opening day. Although it doesn't add alot of distance, it makes the hole play alot more left to right. You will also notice some new trees that were planted last November and some will bloom with beautiful flowers later in the spring. The boys in the pro shop are tellimg me about an incredible membership plan for all the 2009 members that renew this season. Check your emails for further details. Gotta run (oops Waddle) for now.
